I stated striping after my wife got me a beginner kit from Eastwood and I have mentored under Rody Kuschnereit, Jack “The Italian” Giachino, and Todd Hanson. I have also been fortunate to have tons of help from my friends Jennifer Thomas, Beth Kearney, Joe Broxterman, & Alan Johnson.
Mostly other great artists always inspire like Mitch Kim, Rody, Butcher, Tony Perez, Todd Hanson, Beth Kearney, Hot Rod Jen, Alan Johnson, Hugh Hoffman, Ron Hernandez and Zeke Lemanski. I freeking love the Kustom Kulture style and always try to meld that into my artwork as much as possible. I have an amazing group of Colorado artist that I get to work with often and try to stay connected as much as possible.
Favorite brush: Mack King 13 000 & Mack Trickster 00
Most memorable project: My most memorable project has been a recent restoration of a 1930s GMC fire truck with all the very challenging gold leaf and miles of pinstriping.
Advice for beginners: Stay teachable and never think you know it all because you never will.
