– My friend handed me and unknown brush, and I asked him what that is. He said it’s a pinstriping brush, there’s not many people in Thailand, who can do this if you are the one you can make some good money from it. After that, I did some research and decided to quit my job and start practicing for real, in which my goal at that time was to make real money from it.
– My work is driven by Kustom Kulture and a deep passion for beautiful line work. I draw my inspiration from the golden era of Hot Rods and Lowriders. To me, pinstriping is a direct, soulful connection between my hand, the brush, and the surface. My style is shaped by the daily challenge of mastering the lines—making them flow naturally, yet with absolute precision. I view every vehicle as a unique canvas, waiting for its own true character to be brought to life through my strokes.
Most memorable project: – One of my most cherished memories as a pinstriper was my very first live event. I was assigned to stripe a classic pickup truck. As I started, a crowd gathered around to watch. I was so nervous that my hands were shaking, but I pushed through and finished the job. When I stepped back to look at the final result, the lines were noticeably crooked. However, the owner looked at it and insisted I shouldn’t fix a thing. He said, ‘It’s your first time, and I want to keep it exactly like this.’ That moment taught me the true spirit of this community.
Advice for beginners: – Keep practicing, get out there, and connect with the community. Surround yourself with people who love the same culture, stack up your experience, and give yourself every chance to grow.
